Quality control
Quality checks from material to shipment.
Inspection criteria — sampling levels, tolerances and any required tests — are agreed with you before production. We check against the approved specification and report our findings.
- QC 01
Material and fabric inspection
We check the specified fibre content, construction, width, weight, shade and visible defects. For towels and other finished textiles, checks can also cover dimensions and agreed performance requirements.
- QC 02
Pre-production review
Before production starts, we confirm the approved sample, specification sheet, colour standards, materials and packing requirements.
- QC 03
Production checks
Checks during weaving, knitting, processing or sewing can identify issues with construction, shade, dimensions and workmanship while production is under way.
- QC 04
Final inspection
Finished goods are inspected against the agreed specification and sampling standard, which may be AQL-based where agreed.
- QC 05
Packing and carton inspection
We check the packing method, labels, carton markings, quantities and carton condition against your instructions.
Checklist
A sample textile QC checklist.
Each order has a checklist based on its specification. A typical checklist may cover the points on the right.
Inspection reduces the risk of undetected issues but cannot guarantee that every item is defect-free. We aim to identify concerns, report them clearly and agree next steps before shipment.
Independent third-party inspections can be arranged at your request, and we cooperate with inspectors you appoint.
